PROJECT BOOKLET: Interaction As Artefact
The ongoing enlargement of screen-based interface has alienated human's awareness and responses to the physical environment. Non-visual intuition with everyday interfaces. As the development of the sensory clocks, Interface As Artefact - Unseen Time is the reinvention to inspire us to interact with our everyday products by a non-visual intuition.
The Clock / Sense of Smell
Time perceived hourly by the provoking scent which spread out from the cube container of incense on a clock like dial. What will your 7 o’clock smelled like if the clock was made to use the scent to tell time?
The Watch / Sense of Touch
Time presented by the moving inside loop of a bracelet which can only read by the haptic feeling from our arm. How to translate the moving indicator on a watch panel into three-dimensional clockwise?
